Saturday December 14th – Floral Watercolour Painting

In this class, artist Mun from The Arthingy will share the techniques of capturing the beauty of flowers in watercolor using an impressionistic style. You will learn a combination of fundamental stroke work and disrupt it with splashes of water so the resulting paintings have a strong foundation with a effortless looking fluidity that characterizes the loose watercolor look.

You will explore the contrast between crisp detail and faded soft edges and learn the techniques in flower composition to create loose luminous watercolor florals. Beautiful paintings don’t happen accidentally and that is true for loose watercolors too.

We will be painting an A4 size floral water color art. At the end of the session, you’ll bring home your artwork along with a complimentary art frame from Herohand, so you can hang your artwork straight to the wall!

Session Includes:
– All materials & tools for the session
– You’ll bring home a completed artwork in A4
– You will also receive a complimentary contemporary art frame to frame your artwork (Choose to frame with or without matboard)
– Delicious refreshments

Time : 10am-1pm (Workshop will take approximately 3 hours, please be punctual so you have enough time to complete your artwork :))
